Social Assistance and Social Solidarity Overview
The Social Assistance Program, the Social Solidarity Program, and the Aim for Employment Program are all administered by the Ministry of Labour, Employment, and Social Solidarity (MTESS).
Low-income persons who satisfy specific requirements can get a set amount of money through these programs (benefit). This money is used to buy food, housing, and other necessities.

3rd Step: Filling out and submitting your application
Visit a Service Services Québec location. This link will take you to a new tab. Make sure you have picture identification provided by a government agency together with the completed paperwork.
You have the option of sending your forms electronically or via mail. You will have to appear in person for identification verification once the local job centre or Services Québec office gets them.
4th Step: Reviewing and approving your application
A financial assistance officer may call you while your application is being handled and ask you to supply specific papers to clarify facts.
